A hospital in Obukhiv received a new ultrasound machine from the ICF “MANUS DEI”
Doctors say that disease prevention is much cheaper than their treatment. And the experience of the MANUS DEI charitable foundation and the number of requests for help with the purchase of diagnostic equipment suggest that there are a number of problems with prevention in Ukraine.
Lack of diagnostic equipment (ultrasound systems, blood analyzers, gastrofibroscopes), one of the factors, does not allow doctors to timely identify serious pathologies and avoid complications.
Andrei Dotsenko, the founder of the MANUS DEI charitable foundation, quotes the words of doctors from various medical institutions, who unanimously assert: “Today, it is also impossible to work in a hospital without an ultrasound machine, as without a thermometer.”
Therefore, during March this year, the foundation’s team will visit three hospitals to deliver new modern ultrasound diagnostic systems manufactured by Mindray. Last week the device was delivered to Vasylkiv, yesterday – to the Obukhiv city center of medical care.
