A new chemotherapy room at Obukhiv Central Hospital from ICF “Manus Dei”.
According to experts, cancer is one of the most serious diseases of our time. But despite its complexity, this disease can be treated quite successfully if you consult a doctor in time. There are enough problems for public hospitals in this area. The most common of these are lack of equipment, shortage of medicines and lack of appropriate conditions to take care of patients.
This time the attention of our team was attracted by the appeal from the central district hospital of Obukhiv. It was an old hospital room that needed to be renovated into a modern chemotherapy room.
There are approximately a hundred patients with oncological diseases under the supervision of doctors of the Obukhov hospital. Most of them need outpatient treatment. Unfortunately, chemotherapy was not possible due to lack of specialized conditions.
People had to go to other medical institutions for help, spend their energy and valuable time.
The foundation’s team responded to the request and made the necessary repairs. Now a new functional chemotherapy room has opened in the hospital. We sincerely hope that treatment at the place of residence will give more effective results, and the recovery rates of patients with such a difficult diagnosis will increase significantly.
