ICF “MANUS DEI” completed the first stage of work in the creation of the “Montessori room” in the Fastov educational and rehabilitation center
In a special room, the walls were insulated, the lighting system was completely updated, the sewage and ventilation system were replaced, and electric radiators were installed. Also, the MANUS DEI team will soon complete the room with the necessary equipment in accordance with AMI standards and methodological materials for teachers and educators.
“The Montessori for All” program was founded by the CF “TulSun Foundation”, and the MANUS DEI team, whose main area of activity is the provision of medical equipment and the reconstruction of hospital premises, supported the pilot project of colleagues, which started at the Fastov educational and rehabilitation center for children with disabilities … Now the specialists of the center work with hundreds of children from two to eight years old, many of whom were left without parental care. High-level specialists (teachers-defectologists, nurses, massage therapist, psychologist, rehabilitologist) help them to improve their condition and adapt as much as possible to ordinary life.
For such babies, the opportunity for tactile development, fine motor skills and the many advantages of the Montessori method will bring invaluable benefits, help them quickly integrate into society and improve their standard of living.
