The Ternopil hospital received modern endoscopic equipment from the ICF “MANUS DEI” Andrey Dotsenko

The geography of work of ICF “MANUS DEI” is constantly expanding: yesterday the fund’s team handed over modern endoscopic equipment to the Ternopil city hospital No. 2.

Gastro-fibroscope manufactured by the Japanese company OLYMPUS has long been recognized all over the world and is necessary for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum. The device has become widespread in many countries and today, due to its functionality, maneuverability and minimal trauma for the patient, is the most effective in the field of diagnosis.

Due to the built-in video camera, the gastrofibroscope gives a high-resolution color image, on the basis of which the doctor can make a clear diagnosis and prescribe a competent treatment. Also this devices used in preventive procedures and some surgical interventions (removal of polyps, taking material for biopsy, etc.)

City hospital No. 2 today serves 100 thousand patients, and soon, as part of the implementation of medical reform, the number of patients in this medical institution will increase four times.

Andrei Dotsenko, the founder of the ICF “MANUS DEI”, noted that the fund will strengthen its activities and do everything possible so that Ukrainians can receive timely and high-quality medical care.
