ICF “MANUS DEI” will soon visit the Chudel specialized general education boarding school No. 2 in the Sarny region of Rivne region. More than a hundred children with special needs from six regions of the Rivne region study here, who need special conditions for education, upbringing and medical care. Most of them are half-orphans, children from low-income or large families and require constant medical care.
The main task of the institution is to correct the physical and mental development of the pupils, among whom there are many children with autism and Down’s syndrome, so the school has a permanent medical office, which has a pediatrician and nurses.
Among the most pressing needs of the medical office are a refrigerator for storing medicines, thermal bags for transporting vaccines, inhalers, pressure measuring devices.
