Respiratory resuscitator “NeoPuff” for the Zaporozhye regional perinatal center.
More than three thousand babies are born in the Zaporizhia Regional Perinatal Center every year. Premature babies – those who were born prematurely and have a critical weight of less than a kilogram are especially in need of the particular equipment.
The respiratory resuscitator which allows to apply a special method of the extended inflation of lungs becomes of great use. This is a modern type of treatment for respiratory disorders directly in the delivery room in the first seconds of a baby’s life.
However, the regional perinatal center in Zaporizhia lacked this necessary device. Doctors of the medical institution have been dreaming of a respiratory resuscitator for 6 years.
On Valentine’s Day, as part of the charity project “BDayVyklyk: first breath”, initiated by Kateryna Sadova, ICF “Manus Dei” together with ICF “Ukrainian Charity Exchange” donated to the perinatal center of Zaporozhye respiratory resuscitator “NeoPuff TM RD-900”.
The medical staff and mothers are sincerely grateful to the caring people for their support.
This is not the first time that the “Manus Dei” Foundation has joined BDayVyklyk: First Breath, as it is much easier and more enjoyable to do good together.
