ICF “MANUS DEI” together with Charitable Foundation “Help Bank” will transfer another modern respiratory resuscitator for premature babies – this time “NeoPuff TM RD-900” will save babies in Sumy

Next Tuesday, the full MANUS DEI team will go to the regional clinical perinatal center, where together with the “Help Bank” Charitable Foundation, it will provide doctors with a modern respiratory resuscitator.

For the second time, the Charitable Foundation “MANUS DEI”  has joined the all-Ukrainian charity project “BDayVyklyk: First Breath”, initiated by Kateryna Sadova with the support of UBB. The problem of caring for premature babies in our country is extremely acute: according to statistics, every twentieth child is born prematurely, which is more than 22 thousand premature babies a year.

Thanks to the “NeoPuff” device, babies will receive the necessary respiratory support directly in the delivery room, immediately after birth. This advanced method has long been used around the world, and upon completion of the “BDayVyklyk: First Breath” project, such equipment will save babies in every regional perinatal center.

When Ekaterina Sadova’s charity initiative successfully finishes, Ukraine will be one step closer to ensuring that children who a year or two ago did not have a chance for full development have a real opportunity to live a full, long and happy life.
