Ternopil City Children’s Communal Hospital Receives Mobile Portable Ultrasound Machine from ICF “MANUS DEI”
The Ternopil City Children’s Municipal Hospital received yesterday a new modern system of ultrasound diagnostics from the MANUS DEI Charitable Foundation. This mobile portable ultrasound machine is extremely necessary, because thanks to it doctors will now be able to detect serious diseases in the early stages, minimize the risk of complications and promptly adjust the treatment process.
“Ternopil City Children’s Municipal Hospital serves more than 50,000 children a year, most of them are hospitalised with acute infectious diagnoses or cancer. According to experts, up to 30 patients a day can be examined thanks to the portable ultrasound system. And I know our doctors will use this equipment and improve the quality of medical care for people. ” – said the mayor of Ternopil Serhiy Nadal during the handover of the device.
Andriy Dotsenko, the founder of the ICF “MANUS DEI” expressed confidence that people will benefit from the equipment for many years, because timely diagnosis is the key to everyone’s health.
“As for the future plans of our foundation, we will continue to work mainly within the provision of medical facilities with the necessary equipment and reconstruction of premises. This is our second visit to Ternopil in the last six months, and the third ultrasound machine that the foundation handed over in March. ”
